Lyndy's song! The story of the truck.
Okay, I like this episode a bit too much. I'm looking forward to watching it again, even though I just watched it not long ago for something to go in Big Time Cowboys.

Date: 2011-05-22 09:56 pm (UTC)I could have done without Lou worrying over her reunion with Peter, but I did like it when she teased Amy about being a control freak.
Duke, the horse that Amy was working with in this episode, was one mentioned in the book series, although the circumstances were a bit different. They rescued him from Green Briar, the Grant/Stanton farm, in far worse condition. It started with him missing his stablemate, but it deteriorated into a situation where he was getting hit with brooms. Saving the horse got Amy's friend Daniel fired. I may have mixed up two stories about horses...
Lisa and Jack's date... From the moment she walked in wearing white, I knew she was going to get dirty, and it was priceless when it happened. I liked the way that Lisa accused the truck of knowing that Jack didn't want to go. It wouldn't have surprised me if it did.
I didn't think the dress Amy tried on needed to be shortened, though it was a pretty deliberate attempt to show that it wasn't her style.
Ty was so sweet with the dancing lessons, all the trouble he went through. I liked seeing Lou teach him to dance. It was nice to see Lou relaxed, having fun, and not being so self-absorbed for a change. Peter cutting in was hilarious.
Caleb and Ashley in this tug of war were interesting. I did like the way they ended up laughing when the roof fell down, though Ashley's dress was awful, in my opinion.
Amy's dress was gorgeous, I want one of my own, though a little higher cut in front would be nice.
I loved the parallel dates with Jack/Lisa and Ty/Amy with the trucks breaking down, and that dance in the back of his truck is just awesome.
Of course, I also really enjoyed the insight in to Jack, his attachment to the truck. I love that he didn't want it/thought it was too much when Lyndy bought it as well. And I love the songs they gave her.
I wish I knew how to get a hold of full versions of her songs.

Oh, that I had some extra money. I wouldn't mind having these songs, and I don't like country. :P
