Big Time Cowboys
Chapter Nine, Ten, & Eleven
Word Count: 2,898; 2,848; & 2,691
Rating: PG-13
Pairings: Kendall/Jo, Logan/Camille, Ty/Amy, Lou/Peter (but don't expect that to last, I chose this setting for a reason), Lou/Scott, and possibly a bit of Jack/Lisa. As scary as that list might seem, this story is mostly about humorous antics and none of the pairings are a big focus of it, I promise. I just like to cover all the bases.
Disclaimer: I'm never going to grow up. That means... I'm not legally responsible for anything, right?
Summary: Four teenage boys. Two weeks. One ranch. Who will survive?
Spoilers: Nothing past Eye of the Wolf for Heartland, season 2 of Big Time Rush, with a very minor one from Big Time Moms. I couldn't resist.
Author's Note: I got them to ride. Finally. :) Also, I indulge my love of Lyndy's songs and singing in general. :P

Chapter Nine
Author's Note: I got them to ride. Finally. :)
Genuine Cowboy
( jack really is a genuine cowboy )
Chapter TenAuthor's Note: I finally got to some of the stuff I've been meaning to do for a while. Riding, Lou/Scott, and... May I just say, again, how I love Lyndy's songs? I know they're not really Lyndy's and the guys probably
wouldn't sing them, but between hearing them again doing rewatches for lb_heartland and seeing the music video for BTR's "Stuck," that last scene just had to be written. If you'd like to hear the song used for Lyndy's, it's "
Forever More" by Crystal Palmondon. :)
Right Here
( right here waiting for you )
Chapter ElevenAuthor's Note: Let's see here... I decided to go ahead with this section after remembering that Michelle Morgan (Lou) sings a song in the fifth episode, so the one she does in here is the same one, "Bad Timing." It's by Blue Rodeo, and it sums up her character and Scott's relationship. *sigh* And, Amber Marshall (Amy) does a song in season four that is attributed to Lyndy as well, so I figured it would be good to give her one of her grandmother's, this time "Only Dreamin'" by Crystal Palmondon.
If You Feel Like Singing, Sing
( if you can't sing good, sing soft )
