Any characters we'd like to take a look at?

Anyone have suggestions of songs that describe any of the characters? Maybe we could work up some vids, too?

I hope you're not offended by my observations on the songs. I just noticed a few things that I thought I'd comment on, and that's good for discussion, right?

What is it with country music and women that put up with deadbeats? I found that part a bit frustrating because other than the Chase thing, that's not Amy. Off the top of my head, and it's not a perfect fit, I'd put Ana Johnsson's "The Way I Am" for Amy because of her strong character. I did think that "Cowgirls Don't Cry" was a fairly good fit, other than the one who taught her to be strong was Marion and not Tim and the part about the girl's husband.

I did think the sassy tone kind of fit Lou, but Lou never kicked any guy to the curb, so that doesn't quite feel right to me. It might be a bit harsh, but I might go with Meredith Brooks' "Bitch" for her.

For Jack... I immediately thought of Lynard Skyard's "Simple Man." Even the title sums him up well.

I did think that song kind of fit Ty. Personally, I leaned towards "I Am the Highway" by Audioslave given his need to take off and roam or "Call Me" by Shinedown.

This is fun! We should do more song finding?

Maybe some more lyric/music comparison?
