Summer Theme... Challenge... Do With It What You Will...

So... Summer's a big part of Heartland. Big part of everywhere, really. I just figure we could get some creative things going, like posting pictures of our favorite summer moments. Maybe we'll add captions to these pictures.

Pick the best summer episode, and tell the community why it's the best.

Ah, a very good episode, that one. Hard to watch in parts, and of course, I did my usual to the book comparison all through it--the book has Ty's dad coming with the horses, but instead of abandoning him, he just disapproved of what Ty did at Heartland and didn't like him dating Amy. When he brought the horses there, he was the one to sit with the mare who died, and he cried. I was hoping to see that in the episode, but it didn't happen.

Still a great episode, though.

Oh, I didn't realize that it was the episode that got you into Heartland. That definitely makes it special. I had read the books and my mom happened to see the reruns on, but then we watched it from the beginning, so I didn't have an episode that got me into it.


I hope season five is much better, too. Beautiful scenery helps. :)
